Haskins is no stranger to the race track. Winning races and national championships has been the standard for success for Haskins in his racing career. At the young age of seven, the Georgia native started racing Quarter Midgets, and by age 13,he had seven series championships, two national wins, over 350 victories, 32 track records, and was known as the most dominant and respected racer in the Southeast.

In 2004, Haskins moved into Legends Car racing, winning in just his second time on the track, and ending up with two Georgia series championships, the 2009 Nationals win and well over 25 victories.

In the late 2000s, Haskins spent time racing a Pro Late Model in the Georgia Asphalt Series, gaining valuable experience in the Late Model realm. During the 2011 season, Haskins drove a Truck for Curt Britt Motorsports and won multiple races, including the Rheem World Crown, the Speed Weeks Championship at New Smyrna Speedway, Rattler at Opp Speedway and other prestigious races in the southeast.
