Rick spent more than 22 years serving as a United States Marine, focusing a majority of his career in Public Affairs and Community and Media Relations.
His primary focus was developing and delivering national and international public awareness, as well as community-focused public relations campaigns. While working within the recruiting field, he planned special events, promotions, and developed brand-building strategies.
Over the course of more than 30 years, he has worked on all sides of veteran issues, and has been fortunate to have served in positions where he was able to learn, advise, and help bring attention to the problems surrounding our veteran communities.
He has worked as executive director of a nationally based, military focused, youth-oriented foundation, and served as director of community outreach for a senior military official at the Pentagon. Throughout his career, he has always had a concern for our veterans and their families and has continually looked for ways where he can give back. Armed Forces Motorsports provides him that opportunity.
Rick created Armed Forces Motorsports with his wife Lesley, and his daughters Brittany and Rileigh, as a way to honor and support our service men and women. Together, they continually look for solutions to better support our veterans, and are working to build Armed Forces Motorsports into one of the largest motorsports organizations in the country.
